G.A.T.E.

 G.A.T.E. fully consists of 9 people. Well actually 10, because “Maniek” my French bulldog puppy has to be added and Aga is also a member of the group.

1. When was the idea of creating G.A.T.E born? What were the beginnings of the band and where did it all began? Please tell us your story.
Before the band had been formed there had been a certain meeting. At a concert in Lublin, Grzegorz Siwiec met Agnieszka Wiechnik. It was there that he began to germinate the idea of establishing a band. After several months of contacts, conversations and thoughts, Grzegorz Siwiec proposed the establishment of a band. Before that, however, some time had passed given that both Gregorz and Agnieszka had other commitments and were involved in various music projects. However, when these contracts expired, they started to create something new together with a large dose of imagination, energy and passion for music, having the endless scope of enthusiasm from a couple of enthusiastic friends. The finale of this duo was formed in November 2013 as G.A.T.E. , which to this day is storming the music market with their tracks.

2. How does your music portfolio currently present itself? How many songs have you recorded?
In a remarkably short time, we managed to record seven full version songs within a year. It was thanks to the great studio which we had exclusiveness to. We recorded and arranged the songs without any time constraints. Our own studio was an oasis of energy but also brought us a sense of peace and freedom in action and the ability to work hard, the results of which can be seen. Currently, the number of recordings extend to 15 tracks and we are still creating new ones.

3. How are the roles shaped in your band? Who is responsible for writing the texts, who is responsible for compositing them ?
Of course, as in any band just as in a civil partnership there is a division of roles. So far Aga arranged great lyrics for the songs arranged Aga pouring in her knowledge, experience, emotion and passion. However, Gregory creates great music, complementing Aga’s brilliant texts creatively. The effects of the creativity of the ambitious duo is full of energy, excitement and the freshness of the songs that we can listen to.

4. How many people are currently in your group?

5. What kind of role in the band does your little friend “Maniek” play ?
“Maniek” is our team mascot. As a member of G.A.T.E. he also has his own contribution to the stage and media. He accompanies us on tours, is present during recordings, goes with us for interviews and is backstage.

6. How would you judge your relationships within the band? Do you keep in contact also beyond the stage?
Relationships in the band are very friendly and obviously affiliated. We try by speaking to compromise. We listen to each other and exchange experiences. Our little pet “Maniek” brings lots of fun in our professional lives. Needless to say, we get along great, privately.

7. What future plans does G.A.T.E. have? Can you unveil the mystery to your fans and listeners?
Of course, we create, create and create again. There will be new songs, recordings and videos. New challenges in one sentence. There will be a lot of publicity in the media, also thanks to the extraordinary cooperation which we have established recently. Music producer Thomas Bidiuk, known on the Polish market, will join our band. He will officially record singles together with G.A.T.E., and an extraordinary debut album will be announced.
