Media InvestCamp 2016
Events 7 February 2017 Krzysztof Sadecki
Another edition of the InvestCamp conference for investors, the second one this year, is already behind us. The previous one took place in the UK, and then the time came for Poland.
It has become a tradition that all meetings organised by the Global Investor Club provide the participants with a tremendous amount of practical knowledge that anyone can use. It was no different this time. A whole galaxy of experts in investing turned up at the InvestCamp 2016 PL. Dariusz Stasik, CEO of one of the largest Polish construction companies, spoke about his passion for innovative solutions changing people’s lives. Michael Prząda from Poland’s only auction house dealing in vintage cars told stories about what must appeal to every big boy, namely beautiful old cars.
What else could the participants of the event hear about? Practically everything you can make good money on, including real estate, Internet domains, green energy, wine, tax havens and moving your business to the UK, playing the stock market, or the upcoming new legal concept – a simplified joint-stock company. This huge dose of knowledge, although presented in a manner accessible and intelligible to everyone, could give you a headache.
Since it is difficult to find another place holding so many enterprising and ambitious people, it should not be surprising that, on the side-lines, you could soon hear about a number of really interesting investments planned by the participants. The most attractive ones include the idea of investing in luxury yachts to be chartered in the Masurian Lake District. In the Global Investor Club, the way from the idea to its application is very short, so the first yachts will be launched in the spring of next year. Group implementation of the most interesting ideas has long been the domain of this club of investors. Every member of the club can take part in these projects.
To those yearning after the excitement of investing, we can announce that we know the time and place of the next year’s edition of the conference. You may already feel invited to this event, which will take place between the 15th and the 17th of September 2017 in the Ryn Castle, Masurian Lake District.
